Product Description
Kappa HC Air Valve general situation
Kappa HC Air Valve have good performance in the service of highly corrosive media. The unique design of the disc, and body lined PTFE, make it have the excellent corrosion protection.
Feature
1.It is designed for highly corrosive media. Suitable for extreme conditions: H2S, H2SO4,HCI, and any kind of highly corrosive media (concentrated and diluted).
2.Excellent corrosion protection, all wet parts must be SS904L and Viton, and HDPE, and PTFE
3.Non slam closure by the help of two stage closing design.
4.Single chamber air valve, automatically operated by the medium.
5.Compact design, small volume and light weight.
6.High venting capacity, The capacity of venting and suction is better than normal two holes Air Valve.
7.Large orifice for outlet and intake of large air volumes, during filling and emptying of pipeline.
8.Small orifice for air release under pressure during the operation of pipeline.
9.Reduces pressure drop.
7.Maintenance can be easily performed from the top without removing the air valve from the pipe.
8.Coating suitable for highly aggressive environments(Epoxy).
9.The cost is lower than the corrosion resistant special alloys ( CN7M, Hastelloy C276 ).
Performance Standard
1.Design & Manufacture standard as to: ASME B31.3 ASME B16.34
2.Height dimension (H) standard as to: MFR-STD
3.Flange dimension conforms as to: ASME B16.5
4.Testing And Inspection as to: API 598
5.Pressure-temperature conforms as to: ASME B16.34
6. Anti Corrosion as per NACE MR-0175(2002) requirement
