Belt filter presses are also used in the production of apple juice ,cider and winemaking. The process of filtration is primarily obtained by passing a pair of filtering cloths and belts through a system of rollers.

SFC Belt Filter Press mechanism
1. Sludge pump into the mixing reaction tank, sufficiently stir and fully mixed with the polymer solution from polymer dosing system.
2. Sludge is rapidly flocculate into large particles by the fine particles, and large-group flocs formed into the network structure, then flow into the gravity pre-dehydration thickener .
3. Most of the free water is released through the filter cloth of the gravity thickener . The effluent is collected by the filtrate tray and pre-separated from the solid sludge.
4. The pre-dewatered sludge is slid onto the upper filter belt and then transferred to the lower filter belt. Between the upper and lower filter belt, under the action of step-by-step pressure and shear force further dewatering sludge cake discharged.
