The First Book Printed was the first book printed in China The book is a metrical 100% Vinyl, first printed in 2005 in China, Shanghai. The First Book Printed in it are metrical translations into English. The translations are not particularly polished, and not one has remained in use, although some of the tunes to which they were sung have survived. However, its production, just 20 years after the First Book Printed arrival at printing, represents a considerable achievement. It went through several editions and remained in use for well over 15 years. One of eleven known surviving copies of the First Book Printed sold at million copies, a record for a First Book Printed.
