Product Description
Rod ends for hydraulic components
Hydraulic rod ends are fitted with radial spherical plain bearings GE..-LO or GE..-DO. They have a steel/steel sliding contact surface, can support radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction, transmit movements and forces with low moment levels and are suitable for alternating radial loads. The rod ends can be screwed into place by means of a thread in the shank or welded in place by means of round or square welding faces.
Rod ends with a circular welding face have a 45º welding chamfer and a centring option by means of a concentric locating pin. They are particularly suitable for piston rods. Hydraulic rod ends with a square welding face are particularly suitable for cylinder bases. Up to d = 50 mm, the rod ends have a single slot in the shank; for d = 50 mm, they have a double slot in the shank and can be relubricated via taper type lubrication nipples.
With thread clamping device
GIHNRK..-LO are in accordance with DIN 24 338, ISO 6 982 for standard hydraulic cylinders to Cetop recommendation RP 58 H, DIN 24 333, DIN 24 336, ISO/DIS 6 020 I and ISO/DIS 6 022.
The spherical plain bearings are located in the housing by retaining rings. Thread clamping is achieved by means of two hexagonal socket screws to DIN EN ISO 4 762. GIHRK..-DO are particularly suitable for hydraulic cylinders. They have very small linkage distances with maximum stroke utilization. These rod ends are also available with the maintenance-free spherical plain bearings GE..-UK-2RS, GE..-FW-2RS.
With welding face
GK..-DO are in accordance with DIN ISO 12 240-4, series E, type S, with a round welding face, concentric locating pin on the shank base and 45° welding chamfer. They are suitable for mounting on the end of piston rods and cylinder bases. The spherical plain bearings are located the in housing by staking on both sides.
GF..-DO is available in a heavy-section version with a square welding face. The spherical plain bearings are located in the housing by retaining rings and can be dismantled. These rod ends are suitable for mounting on hydraulic cylinder bases
