Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) technology is an aseptic filling and manufacturing technology used to produce small(0.1mL) and large volume(1000mL +) liquid-filled containers. The BFS machine features an aseptic process that a container is formed from PP/PE granules, then the container is automatically filled and sealed in a continuous process under a closed and aseptic condition, without any human intervention. The pharmaceutical BFS machine has become more prevalent within the pharmaceutical industry for packing of small volume injections(plastic ampoules and vials bottle), eye drops, oral liquid and large volume IV solutions, glucose, normal saline, eye-washing solutions and lens care solutions, etc.
.Container extrusion: PP/PE granules are extruded into plastic tubes and then the tubes are delivered to the molding station.
.Molding: The main mold closes, sealing the tube base and the tubes are blown into designed shape as the mold.
.Filling:Use time-pressure metering system for precise filling.
.Sealing:Head mold closes to seal the container at the top.
.Demolding and output:The mold opens to release the containers, which will be collected for next process.
